Knoepfler Chevrolet Supports Children's Shelter

At the Knoepfler Chevrolet Car Show, there was a Cars for Kids fundraiser which benefited the Children's Shelter of the Crittenton Center. 

Guests could purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win some amazing door prizes, including a John Deere pedal tractor donated by Bomgaars and a Traeger Pellet Grill donated by Arnold's Motor Supply. Car Show t-shirts were also for sale. All of the proceeds from these items went directly to the Children's Shelter. 

The Shelter provides emergency shelter for children ages newborn to 17. These children are displaced from their homes for a variety of reasons including abuse/neglect, family problems, parents getting arrested, homes being red tagged, loss of foster care placement, ungovernable behavior and some children are simply just left at the shelter. The Car Show Committee chose this organization, because the Crittenton Center is making a difference in the lives of children that might otherwise have no place to go. 

Thank you to everyone who supported this fundraiser! Our hope is that the funding goes to an area of great need at the Children's Shelter. 

Sioux City Car Show Brings in Amazing Vehicles

The turnout for the Knoepfler Chevrolet Car Show on June 24 was unbelievable! The parking lot overflowed with all different kinds of vehicles and with hundreds spectators. The Car Show committee estimated that over 250 vehicles turned out for this Show & Shine. 

Besides checking out all the amazing vehicles on display, guests enjoyed food from Dairy Queen and La Juanita's, registered to win a variety of door prizes and watched the build of a small block Chevy. The show's youngest guests hung out in the Children's' Area which included a bounce house, face painting and a instant ninja warrior obstacle course put on by Tiger Rock Martial Arts.

Knoepfler Chevrolet Hosts Free Car Show

The annual Knoepfler Chevrolet Car Show is set for June 24th at 100 Jackson Street in downtown Sioux City from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. This free event features some fun activities for the whole family:

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Show & Shine Car Show
1:00 PM - Lesson on Putting Together a Small Block Chevy
2:00 PM - Presentation by Dan Harry on "Horsepower and How to Get It"
7:00 PM - Meet back downtown to cruise the loop

Dairy Queen and La Juanita's will be on site as well as a Kids' Area with free activities, including a bounce house, Tiger Rock Martial Arts of Sioux City - Instant Ninja Course, racing games, face painting and more!

The Car Show will also be holding a Cars for Kids Fundraiser. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the event for a chance to win amazing door prizes, and proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit the Children's Shelter of the Crittenton Center. Door prizes include a Snap-On chest cooler, a grill donated by Arnold's Motor Supply, a John Deere kids’ pedal tractor donated by Bomgaars, 2 Country Music Festival tickets from Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and a detail and oil change package from Knoepfler Chevrolet.

If entering a vehicle into the show, please enter the lot on Jackson Street. There are no entry fees, judging or pre-registration. All vehicles are welcome. The first 100 car show entries will receive dash plaques and goody bags.
