Knoepfler Chevrolet
will host a free drive-in movie at their location, 100 Jackson Street, on
Saturday, October 8. Parking and seating
begins at 7:30 PM and the movie will start at dusk.
The show is free, but guests are
asked to provide one canned food item per person in support of the Food Bank of
Siouxland. Knoepfler Chevrolet will be showing the movie Talladega Nights: The
Ballad of Ricky Bobby. The 2006 comedy stars Will Ferrell as #1 NASCAR driver
Ricky Bobby.
Viewers can choose to watch from
their vehicles or sit outdoors. If choosing to watch outdoors, guests will need
to provide their own chairs. Guests can tune in their vehicle’s radio to hear
the movie from their vehicle. Concessions will be available with proceeds
benefiting the Boy Scouts.
“This event is a way to say thank
you to our great community for keeping us in business since 1922,” says Heidi
Connelly, Marketing Director for Knoepfler Chevrolet. “The Drive-In Movie was a
huge success last year, and we anticipate an even better turnout this year. We hope
that this event will reach people of all ages from the older generation reliving
the days of the drive-in to the younger generation experiencing it for the
first time.”
Please enter the Knoepfler Chevrolet lot - 100 Jackson Street in downtown Sioux City - on Virginia Street. Volunteers will direct guests where to park.
